I'll start with me. Lived there August 1962 to October l984 - 22 Years. Many of you can top that. So lets see who the winner will be!

hello marion,
think i may have you beat. i believe Michelle Montana still lives on Beach Ave. was born & raised in the same house.
anyone out there top that? is anyone a 2nd generation stratton park kid? would love to hear from someone who's parents were a Stratton Park baby.

Hello All: Idon't want to answer for others, I'll let them do that. ButI do know that there are at least two of our current site writers who have parents still living in the neighborhood. Somebody must hold down the old fort. So, I'd imagine they have been in the neighborhood since the 40's. My Mom and Dad lived in the neighborhood from 1941 to 1986. Great question Marion. I have an old friend who still lives at 1575 Theriot Ave, in the same apartment she grew up in. Her mother also lived there as a baby. Supposedly, her mother's family was the very first family to live in that apartment. I won't name names because I don't know if she'd appreciate me giving out her whereabouts.

I have a contender i believe the Cusack family lived there in the 40 s when us kids became friends and today jack cusack still resides in stratton park.

I woulod like to offer my mom. Kitty Merendino she moved into the apartment at 1580 Thieriot Ave just after WWII in about 1946 and she still resides in Stratton Park today some 62 years later and still going at 96.

sorry bugs, my mom and dad (tom and frances kelly) moved into stratton park as newlyweds september 1943. they lived at 1444 beach avenue and i guess around 20 years ago moved to thieriot avenue. they still live there as you know.......

Hi all, I lived on Taylor Avenue from 1948 until 1988. I stayed in the same apt. my family lived in even after I was married. So I was a long time resident.

I just spoke to Frances Somereve. She's lived in 1523 Taylor for 76 years, 74 of them in the same apartment.

Yes I would say my Aunt has everyone beat and if anyone has been there longer i am sure she will let me know .
